Come hear Anthony Purnel talk about his fascinating journey hiking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. 

A member of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, Anthony spent his life hiking the local trails in the Coachella Valley and in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Follow along as he discusses the many obstacles and challenges he faced on his 132 day journey.

Anthony is a Native American, born and raised in Palm Springs growing up living the outdoor lifestyle. Graduated from Cathedral City High School in 2005, and went to California State University Fullerton majoring in Business and Communications. Upon graduating college, he worked in technology as a Web Administrator and currently serves as a Tribal Council Member for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
